Tim Kornegay is the owner and broker-in-charge of Metro Land Brokers, Inc. A Charlotte native, Tim has observed the city and region's growth over the past five decades. He possesses extensive knowledge of the area's commercial real estate and land market, with a particular focus on the rapidly expanding south and southeast regions. His work includes urban and infill areas from Uptown Charlotte to the I-485 corridor, as well as surrounding areas such as Harrisburg, Matthews, Mint Hill, Indian Trail, Stallings, Weddington, and Pineville in North Carolina, and Indian Land, Lancaster, Fort Mill, Rock Hill, and York in South Carolina.

Tim holds a civil engineering degree from N. C. State University and boasts over 20 years of experience in commercial construction project management with BellSouth (now AT&T) and Family Dollar Corporation. This background has equipped him with a high level of skill in due diligence, covering planning and zoning matters, utility availability and accessibility, road networks and improvements, school system information, and all aspects of site evaluation. Conducting this due diligence upfront enhances the likelihood of a successful closing. These skills are invaluable to Tim's clients in determining the highest and best use for the properties they wish to sell or sites under consideration for purchase.

Tim actively explores the Charlotte Metro area, maintaining an inventory of prime land opportunities, including listed and unlisted properties and those for sale by the owner. Tim is dedicated to representing his clients with good faith, honesty, and integrity while prioritizing his commitment to family, faith, and valuing trusted friendships. In his free time, Tim enjoys camping, sailing, fishing, shrimping, building log cabins, and cultivating cut flowers in his leisure time.
